We are seeking a fractional Content Marketing Specialist with expertise in SEO to oversee our comprehensive content marketing strategy.
This role is ideal for a forward-thinking professional skilled in keyword and topic research, content production scheduling, creating detailed briefs, quality control, distribution, promotion, and ongoing optimization.
As we grow this department your role would expand.

Create high-quality, interview-driven long-form content that is easily repurposed and distributed across multiple channels.
Drive website conversions.
Establish our clients as thought leaders in their industry.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Design and implement the initial content marketing strategy, including a visual topic map, to enhance our clients' website traffic for relevant topics and keywords.
Keyword and Topic Research:
Conduct comprehensive keyword and topic research to guide content creation.
Include a visual component, a topical map, that provides ultimate clarity to the client.
Content Production Schedule:
Determine a flexible production schedule considering seasonality and trending topics.
Plan topics broadly before delving deep into areas our clients want to own.
Content Creation and Ordering:
Create detailed briefs for vetted, industry experienced writers and manage the ordering process to ensure content quality and adherence to SEO best practices.
Quality Control:
Perform QC through human review and scoring in SEMRush/SurferSEO, maintaining the highest standards of content quality.
Distribution and Promotion:
Oversee the team's distribution and promotion of content across social media and other relevant platforms, employing tactics from industry leaders.
Ongoing Optimization:
Oversee ongoing content optimization using tools like RivalFlow and Google Console to ensure relevance and engagement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in content marketing and SEO, with a portfolio that demonstrates success in a similar role.
Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including SEO, content marketing tools, and platforms.
Ability to work efficiently within a fractional (part-time) schedule, prioritizing tasks to meet goals within limited hours.
Excellent communication skills, with the capability to create detailed briefs and collaborate with writers and team members effectively.
Creative thinker with a strategic approach to content marketing and a knack for identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.
This is a part-time position that will grow into a full-time position and compensation is dependent upon experience.
